The first technology park in Europe
Sophia Antipolis, located on the Côte d’Azur, is the largest and first technology park in France and Europe, founded in 1969 by Pierre Laffitte.
Recognised today as a leading hub of technological innovation, the technology park houses 2,500 companies, 40,000 jobs, around 5,500 students, and 4,500 researchers of more than sixty different nationalities.
