Dounia Sekkat (SKEMA 2010), Ambassador of the Casablanca Chapter

02 April 2025 Interview

Could you briefly tell us about your career since graduating from SKEMA Business School and what motivated you to become an ambassador for the SKEMA Alumni Casablanca chapter?

Since graduating from SKEMA Business School, I've had the opportunity to build a career rich in experience in the field of communications and public relations, both in Morocco and internationally. I worked in a number of agencies before co-founding Com&Talk Agency, a communications agency that assists brands in their media positioning and crisis management.

My involvement as one of the club's ambassadors is above all a way of reconnecting with the SKEMA community and contributing to the network's dynamism. SKEMA has given me an international vision and an entrepreneurial approach that I've been able to apply to my professional career. Today, I dream of being able to re-create synergy between SKEMA alumni, develop their network and strengthen their professional impact.

How do you plan to energize and enliven the Casablanca chapter of which you are the ambassador? Could you share a few ideas for events or initiatives you'd like to put in place?

The main objective is to turn the club into a real circle of exchanges and professional opportunities, by highlighting the spirit of sharing and collaboration that characterizes SKEMA alumni. To achieve this, several initiatives seem essential to me:

  1. Networking get-togethers - Organize afterworks and thematic breakfasts to enable alumni to meet, exchange views on their career paths and explore professional opportunities together.
  2. Alumni mentoring - Set up a program where more experienced Alumni can support younger SKEMA Alumni in their careers, give them advice and help them expand their network.

What message would you like to pass on to Alumni to encourage them to join and become actively involved in the local SKEMA Alumni Casablanca chapter?

We all share the SKEMA experience, which has shaped the way we think, act and innovate. Today, joining the club is not just about being part of a network, it's about building opportunities together, sharing our experiences and helping each other in our professional and personal journeys.
