Abstract
Entrepreneurial success is strongly conditioned by entrepreneur’s mindset and sentiment, and more generally by the confidence entrepreneurs have in their capability, their self-efficacy, the support from their entrepreneurship ecosystem, and/or the image conveyed by their entrepreneur status in the society at large. Therefore, understanding and evaluating entrepreneur’s confidence are of primary importance when analyzing the outcomes of entrepreneurial projects.
This research aims to develop a tool to create an entrepreneur mindset and sentiment indicator. In doing so, we seek to provide longitudinal individual-centered metrics (i) to policy-makers that will help them (re)design entrepreneur-focused policies, and (ii) to researchers that will access a new entrepreneurship indicator and potential determinant of entrepreneurial success.
